Thresholds

During the process of growth and development, we suffer many changes, whether it is within or on the outside. Be it for the better or for the worse, it is part of the walk of life to change and become more mature, passing and crossing many thresholds.

Thresholds may have different meanings for people of different ages, social groups, countries, cultures and religions. In spite of that, there is something in common for all of them: a new part of life has just begun and a whole new world is waiting for you to explore.

A person who just finished high school and is entering college, a girl having her fifteenth birthday party, a boy getting his first car, a couple getting married, a couple having a baby, a catholic receiving his or her first communion, and other infinite examples show how thresholds are strongly present in society's day to day.

Even though thresholds are very personal, to cross one means to conquer something. Life is made of dreams, achievements, struggles, victories and defeats. It is necessary to be prepared to deal with sunny days and storms at the same time, because during life, thresholds means reaching limits and opening new doors that lead us to discover a new world which until that moment is totally unknown.
