What it takes to inspire...

Since childhood, one of the most powerful and strongest characteristic that is carried with us for the rest of our lives is the act of dreaming. When we are little, we have a million dreams, even though they might be the craziest ones. For example, who never wanted to be an ice-cream man only to eat every single ice cream that was supposed to be sold? Who never wanted to have a secret passage inside the bedroom? Or even to be a vet and take care of lovely puppies? Who never had dreams like those?

As we grow up, these dreams change and start to take a different form and aspect from what it used to be, as they need to become more serious when the time to define what path we are going to tread professionally arrives. During this process, we mature and want  our abstract ideas to become real , transforming our dreams into goals to be achieved.

The real obstacle when that time arrives is how to achieve these goals. What first needs to come to mind is not exactly what you want to be, as many people think it is, but how you want this person to be. What must be clear to you is that whatever career you choose, you need to give it your best and do it with all of your heart, because it is a decision that will mark  your whole life. Everyone is capable of being a doctor, a lawyer, an engineer, an architect, an artist and other thousands of professions, but what makes difference is how to assume them. With this, things  become easy and without realizing it, you'd found the key to succeed in life. This act  defines how you will dedicate yourself to whatever you choose to be and fight  for it until the end.

But, unfortunately this doesn't work the same way for everybody in society. Since life appeared on Earth, men work and leave their wives at home to take care of the kids and do the housework. Because of that, even though time has passed by and humanity has changed, what hasn't  is the habit of living and seeing life from this old perspective. With this, women beside having to be dedicated, have to learn how to overcome this situation and separate their personal life from professional life.

Women that want to stay in the work force need to have 3 things in mind: interaction, sharing work with a partner and staying in. The first one refers to sitting at the table and taking ownership of your success, because if you don't, noone else will, so, don't follow the crowd, walk alone  and you will probably go further than many others. The second one ist the importance of making your partner a real partner, sharing housework and responsibilities of the children. And  last but not least, stay in, don't leave  the moment you start to plan the future, and learn how to separate personal and professional life. With these little tips, women will not only be able to compete with men, but to make difference and get ahead.

Another problem that obscures the path to achieving goals is that many people feel vulnerable to the professional world that awaits  them, so they isolate themselves from experiencing this. The fear, shame and disappointment they feel is bigger than the will to succeed. When this subject comes into play, a lot of messy thoughts  come into our heads.

Research found that the only way to overcome vulnerability is to be vulnerable. It sounds crazy, but at same way you fear and want to give up,  as you struggle, vulnerability makes you unique, bringing joy, and happiness to your life. With that, what is learned is that you can't numb the bad feelings without numbing the good ones and life without feelings is miserable and loses purpose and meaning. So, to succeed and feel good not only with your professional life, but with yourself, you need to fear at least once, this way you learn how to overcome bad situations and stay at the top again, making it a vicious cycle that is needed to happen.

By learning to dedicate yourself, keeping in mind that everything you do, do whole-heartedly, overcoming chauvisim and vulnerability.Success is taken from lyrics and the final destination of your goal's path is easily achieved.
